How To Order Prescription Lenses
Frames and Prescription Lenses
Our frames are FABULOUS but what's inside the frames also count! Our beautiful lenses are equipped with premium technologies for precise and effortless focusing. All of our lenses have incredible coatings that are scratch resistance, are anti reflective (so there is less glare) and they have a coating that makes them much easier to clean and keeps them staying cleaner longer. Need we say more... other than WOW! These beautiful lenses take approximately 14 business days to make. This is an approximation and the lenses may sometimes take longer depending on your script.
Frequently Asked Questions
Can I use my Health Care Insurance?
HEALTH PROVIDER INFO At this stage we DO NOT have a provider number for Health Insurance rebates. If you are wanting to claim a rebate through purchasing our glasses and frames, please contact your Health Insurance Provider to ask what you require. We do keep our prices very affordable however, and one of the reasons for this is so they are affordable for everyone - with or without Health Insurance.
How do I get a copy of my prescription?
Give your Optometrist a call and ask them to email you a copy. It's your prescription so it's great for you to have and to keep on file at home.
Which lenses do I need?
If you use your glasses just for reading and for looking at things close up - you need single vision lenses (reading/near). If you use them for when you are driving or looking into the distance - you need single vision (far/distance). If you wear glasses that do both in the one pair - you need the multifocal/progressive lenses.
How long will my prescription glasses take?
Your lenses take approximately 14 business days to custom make. Sometimes they may be faster and occasionally they may take a couple of days longer depending on your prescription. They are beautiful lenses and are truely worth the wait.
You have asked for my Pupillary Distance (PD), what is this?
PD, or Pupillary Distance, is the distance between the centers of your pupils, measured in millimeters. The lab needs this measurement to make sure your eyes are sitting pretty and perfectly centred within your lenses. Sometimes it is already on your prescription or if it's not, you can can measure your own with our PD FINDER when you are choosing your lenses. There is more information about PD's here.
